Hair growing pair

I’m looking for serious relationship. I want to grow hair together with a female partner that would like to do it with someone too. I mean forever! I am in arts and I woulkd like to promote long hair as an art form (such as body art, conceptual art or performance) and a as basis for a lifetime relationship. I would like to cover the relationship and the hair growth as it precedes it in different multimedial art forms.
I was thinking a lot about how to define art and its forms, like what is trade and where the art begins. There are many things that someone can do, but making something real is the most important. Destruction is not an artform. Art requires a lot of patience and love. I usually make things that require a lot of patience, and I try to do more and more.
There are other forms of art – concept, performance and body art. You need a story to cower something that you do. So here is mine:
Two people get together in a relationship. They pledge each other that they won’t cut hair as long as they are in a relationship. If the relationship works well the hair grows and grows… After some while each of the two gets the idea of cutting his/hers hair. The idea comes first time after a year then each month, day, second. But if they are really devoted one to the other, then they just won’t do it. Each month they make a photo of their hair, and there is more to it, a performance, sculpts pictures what ever you might think of. After many years they put the photos in a row and make a movie of their hair growth. It was so easy to cut it in a second, but after so many years they can make the longest braid of two hairs in the world. Supreme body art, concept performance… A real testimony of love and devotion!
Not done by anybody jet! Not something that you can sell!

Dancing the Sacred Self
An Exploration of Radical Movement
with Sefirah and Tiggrr (Freek Factory, NYC)

I am offering a two-hour ecstatic dance workshop in Washington DC next weekend, Sat. 3/10, from 4-6pm. The class is open to anyone interested in changing consciousness and creating space for revelation and renewal. No prior dance training is needed; ecstatic dance has been used for millenia to help access our power to heal and to celebrate the sacred. This is a chance for all of you who have asked if I could teach you how to dance, to journey inside and find new ways to express your personal truth through movement. You will move with more attention and beauty both on the dance floor and in daily life.

This workshop is a collaboration with Mz. Imani, facilitator of SoulFire Inside in DC and SoulFire at CoSM in NYC, and Mz. Tiggrr, my fearless partner in Free(k) dance. The class can be taken on its own or in conjunction with the March 10 SoulFire. Come with an intention. Bring your badass self. The workshop includes an introduction to contact improvisational dance with Tiggrr. Radical movement led by me. Recorded music provided by Freek Factory. Live drumming by Imani and friends.

Di5orient 2005: Going Mobile w/ Free Fuel on Weekends

Disorient's bringing a new beast to BRC this year: the DI5ORIENT EXPRESS (DEX) - a massive art car slash mobile sound system, made with love in NYC and dragged to the playa by a crackerjack team of machine elves.

Each night, we'll park and play next to a different piece of spectacular Playa art, bringing our music, light, and fire next to stone, earth and steel.

Di5orient loves performers grooving to our music: fire performers, poi spinners, hoopers, dancers, jugglers, etc. We'll welcome you anytime.

On Friday and Saturday, the DEX will be providing fire performers with free white gas and lamp oil (while it lasts).

If listed, nightly locations are tentative. Updates will be posted at our base camp: 8:00 and Esplanade.

Or just look for the blinking, orange "Di5" sign on the big bus with no sides and all the speakers on top and the 18' LED semicircles making those cool patterns...(well, you'll know it once you see it!)

To coincide with New York City Earth Day 2005 activities, Tri-State Biodiesel Inc. will begin its Restaurant Grease Equals Clean Air Drive.

Our revolutionary company is preparing to build a large scale production facility that will turn used restaurant (fryer) grease into a clean, renewable, earth and people friendly diesel fuel called Biodiesel. Biodiesel fuel is better for the environment and our health and can really help to clean up our air here in NYC.

In order to reach our goals we are looking for friendly, outgoing representatives to help us visit New York City restaurants and talk to them about donating their waste grease to our company. You will be trained and given promotional materials. This will be fun work with great people for a great cause!

Also, If you would like to get involved but cannot commit to the long hours we are also asking for volunteers to go out with us when they do have the time. Get involved and help us change this city and make history!

Thank you to all who have traveled to see us, supported us, loved us, let us paint your head, ect!!!
We have had a beautiful journey gathering the goddesses, the gods, the devine creative troops. Galaxy Girls have represented so many things to different people, and what a lovely response we've have and shared.
As time went on, and more people were involved and more projects collected,
we realized that we couldn't be in all places, doing everything. As many of us are artists, we also needed to focus on some personal goals, or things that represent to us what our future holds.
Every one of the Ladies has an amazing personality and drive, and will continue to pursue thier goals, dreams, passions, etc. and we will be supportive.
Some of us will remain working with "Freek Factory", and others will move on to different things.
We will still have a communal love, friendships, and support systems, but this is now a new chapter of our life.
Thank you all for being part of it, and continue to morph with us as we move into other things.
We will decide on a name for the FF dancers, but right now, just enjoy the art, the love, the same beautiful energy you always get from the girls!

due to philosophical and directionary dissagreements there has been what some would call a division .... im sure your asking what does that mean well we arent all that sure so far but as soon as we know you know.....
some facts we do know :
1.some of the core ladies you have always know to be galaxy girls ,no longer are" galaxy girls" ,although they are in fact still girls ,still far out and still beautiful and sparkly as ever..

my good sista heatha featha told me recently about a friend of hers who is named Galaxia. I pretty much think it's the coolest name in the entire universe. Followed closely by Tara Ball's baby, Liberty Sofia, who may or may not be yet born... her immenent arrival into the beauty of the day is pending!

anyways - it's been a delight meeting some of you over the past few weeks - hope to meet more of you soon - I'll be gone for a few months, but then back, and wanna spread the stars across the sky with you beauties...
